Inclusion in the Rinjani Deluxe Package Price

The Rinjani luxury package price includes the following:

• Guide that speaks English to show you the way, help you if needed and arrange everything for you
• Porter(s) to carry all food and equipment up and down the volcano (NOT hikers’ personal bags)
• Tents for every 2 people – if you’re a couple or a group, you can choose how to share the tents.
• 6 cm foam mattress and sleeping bag
• Camping chair & portable camping table
• Drinking water, 3 times hot meals per day (breakfast, lunch, dinner), and fruits on the mountain
• Hot drinks (tea or coffee)
• Toilet tent for the group
• Cooking equipment (carried and used by porters and guide to prepare hot meals for you)
• Transportation to and from your initial location in Lombok
• Entrance fee for the Rinjani National Park

Exclusion in the Rinjani Deluxe Package Price

The Rinjani luxury package price does not include the following:

• Tips to the guide and porters (optional, but recommended if satisfied)
• Extra porter to carry personal bags (you can hire on the spot)
• Travel insurance. The latest regulations (2026) require all visitors to have TRAVEL INSURANCE purchased in their home country or elsewhere. Otherwise, visitors can purchase insurance when booking their Rinjani entry ticket for IDR 290,000.
• Personal gears (trekking shoes, bags, and pants) but you can borrow jacket, head lamp, and trekking sticks from Hajar Trekking for free

Attention: Mount Rinjani National Park has issued a new regulation effective April 1, 2026, requiring all trekkers to purchase insurance due to the challenging trail, which can lead to danger or accidents. Insurance can be purchased from a reputable insurance provider in your country or through a partner of Mount Rinjani National Park for IDR 290,000. Trekkers without insurance are not permitted to book climbing tickets.

Recommended Packing List for Rinjani Climb

All meals, drinks and equipment are provided, but you should bring the following:

• shoes – trekking boots are ideal, but even running/hiking shoes with a good grip can be used
• backpack – ideally, a small hiking backpack so you can put clothes, camera, and other things you need
• long pants (it’s very cold at high altitude, reaching even minus temperatures)
• warm jacket – if you don’t have one with you, you can rent one on the spot
• head lamp – if you don’t have one, you can rent one on the spot or buy a cheap one from the nearest shop
• sun screen – even when cold, the sun burns at that altitude
• a camera if you want to capture the entire adventure and scenery
• additional snacks, if you want to eat something specific
• sun glasses
• rain coat (December to April)
• towel
• spare t-shirts and shorts
• bathing shorts if you want to bathe in the hot spring
• hat
• insect repellent
