DO I NEED TO PAY DEPOSIT?
Yes. Please wire a 25% deposit from the total prices of your package. It is aimed to ensure us that you will be seriously using our services. Full payment should be received upon your arrival in our base in Senaru.

WILL I RECEIVE ANY BOOKING CONFIRMATION?
Yes, as soon as you have completed the booking process you will receive a notification email confirming the details of your booking from. If you do not receive this email within a few minutes please log in to your email provider and check your Spam/Junk folders. Please then mark our email as Safe/Not Junk.
MAY I CHANGE THE DATE OF MY TRIP?
Yes, just advise us by email or give us a call (this is subject to availability).
MAY I CANCEL MY BOOKING?
Yes, you can cancel your booking but the cancellation policy will apply.
WHERE YOU RECOMMEND ME TO STAY BEFORE THE TREKKING PROGRAM?
In Senaru. Senaru offers beautiful views to see; the famous Sindang Gile and Tiu Kelep waterfalls, paddy terrace fields, traditional Sasak houses and canals. Further more it is the main gateway to Rinjani National Park.
CAN I LEAVE THE REST OF MY LUGGAGE IN SENARU?
Yes. We want you to walk as easy as possible. So please pack as light as possible too. The rest of your luggage should be stored in our base and you could get on the day you finish the tour program. It lets you easier dealing with the rest of your luggage and shorter access to your next destination.
THERE ARE TWO POPULAR ROUTES, WHICH ONE YOU RECOMMEND ME?
Always depends on your package and destination. If you wish to climb the summit, starting the hike from Sembalun Lawang must be the option as it is the nearest way to reach the summit. Moreover, if you think to do the hardest climb to the peak on the last day and prefer to ascent in a mild temperature then Senaru should be the starting point.
I HAVE A VERY LIMIT TIME, JUST NEED TO SEE THE LAKE!
Go hiking to via Senaru. Senaru crater rim offers almost 70 percent of the best view in Gunung Rinjani. So if you have a very short time of staying in Lombok, this hiking package might be a smart option. The hike begins in Senaru village to Senaru rim and the next morning decent through the same way to Senaru.
QUESTIONS RELATED TO MOUNT RINJANI AND ITS ACTIVITIES
WHEN IS RINJANI OPEN FOR MOUNTAINEERING ACTIVITIES?
Rinjani is normally open for trekking and camping activities from 1st of April to 6th of January yearly. Moreover, the park will be closed for any of the activities from the 2nd week of January to the end of March (3 months) regarding to heavy rain which might endangerous lives.
WHEN IS IT CONSIDERED AS THE BEST TIME TO CLIMB MOUNT RINJANI?
April to June is considered the best time to climb because of the beginning of hiking season as well as the end of rainy-season. It means the green landscapes can still be seen and lower amount of hikers found during these periods. The very high trekking season is from the early of July and to the late August; the track will be hectic during these two months. Then September to the first week of January are also a good time to do hiking.
IS IT SAFE TO CLIMB MOUNT RINJANI?
Yes. Rinjani has a moderate and easily recognized track. Apart from “Act of God” incidents, as long as you listen to your mountain guide’s instructions and stay on the track, there is less risk of suffering any injury or accident. There are reported incidents where climbers lost their way, injured themselves or lost their lives on the mountain, but note that these usually happen when they leave the marked trail on their own and/or get deviated from their group.
IS THERE ANY HEALTH RESTRICTION?
it is highly recommended that all hikers should have themselves medically checked before attempting any mountain climb. If you are pregnant or have a history of suffering from the following ailments, it is highly recommended that you should refrain from climbing: Hypertension, Diabetes, Palpitation, Arthritis, Heart Disease, Severe Anemia, Peptic Ulcers, Epileptic Fits, Obesity (Overweight), Chronic Asthma, Muscular Cramps, Hepatitis (Jaundice); or any other disease which may hamper the climber. You know your body best!
DO WE NEED ANY ACCLIMATIZATION?
To allow high altitude acclimatization and reduce risk of Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS), we suggest that you take at least 3 day hiking with an extra night staying in Senaru prior to the program. AMS normally occur only when climbing peak of the volcano.
IS THERE ANY AGE LIMIT TO CLIMB MOUNT RINJANI?
We suggest young children to be at least 10 year old due to the numerous steps and steep slopes. Similarly, elderly climbers need to be in good health and fitness level to attempt the climb.
WHAT KIND OF ALTITUDE SICKNESS HIKERS FREQUENTLY EXPERIENCE ON RINJANI?
Altitude sickness or Acute Mountain Syndrome (AMS) affects every individual differently and is regardless of fitness level. Most climbers will experience lightheaded or a mild headache, while a small percentage of climbers will suffer from nausea or vomiting. The symptoms of AMS vary for different people but include dizziness, fatigue, confusion, difficulty walking. If you are feeling any of these syndromes please take some minutes rest and drink lots of water.
